Unless submitting request online, all completed and signed forms (see below) should be submitted to the Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) Registration Office in one of the following ways:

  • In Person or by Mail - CPE Registration Office, 100 Venture Way, Suite 201, Hadley, MA 01035.  NOTE:  The postmark date is considered the date of add.
  • Fax - 413-545-0513

To add a class before the Add/Drop deadline (all students):

  1. Use SPIRE to register if you are eligible. Details available here.
    OR
  2. Submit a registration request online. Note: This option is only available until one day before the end of add/drop for the class.
    OR
  3. Complete registration form

To add a credit class after the Add/Drop deadline:

  • Adds are NOT allowed after the semester midpoint.
  • A $60.00 late fee will be charged for each registration processed after the add/drop deadline.
Graduate students:
Complete a Graduate Late Add/Drop form and a registration form. Students matriculated into a degree program must have the Late Add/Drop form signed by both the class instructor and their Graduate Program Director before submitting. Non-degree students must have it signed by the class instructor and by a CPE Advisor.
Undergraduate Students:

Complete a Late Add Petition and a registration form.  State the reason for late registration on the Late Add Petition form along with written permission and/or verification of attendance from the instructor.
